The Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarhsip (Ballet) will be offered in 2012 to candidates who show great promise in this art form.
To be eligible for this award, you must born in Australia and aged 17-35 at the closing date of entries.
Scholarships each worth $20,000, payable over two years with funds paid in quarterly instalments of $2,500. The total pool of money is $100,000.

Australian applicants for the World Dance Alliance–Asia Pacific International Choreographer Scholarship to the American Dance Festival (China) need to apply to Ausdance National before 16 January 2012.
The scholarship is worth about AUD $700 and covers the costs of attending all master classes (3 classes per day, 1.5 hours per class for 13 calendar days) performances, lectures and forums throughout the festival.

Beginners Contemporary will resume on Wed 18 January 2012.
The next Certificate in Dance-Movement Therapy course will commence July 2012. Attendance at an ‘Introduction to Dance Therapy’ workshop is a prerequisite for selection to the course.
Last month we ran our annual photography competition, the winners of which each receive a copyright fee and have their images displayed on the ArtsCareer website for one year.
We had so many great entries it was hard work selecting the winners but after much deliberation we were able to narrow it down!
