You can register for Dance Live, Dance Films or Promote an Event by completing the registration forms by 9 January 2012.

Dance Across the Domains – The Spin Off Series: Dance for People with Special Needs
Ausdance Victoria presents two days of professional development for dance teachers, essential for anyone working in mixed ability and special school settings. Tutors: Kim Dunphy and Sue Mullane.

The Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarhsip (Ballet) will be offered in 2012 to candidates who show great promise in this art form.
To be eligible for this award, you must born in Australia and aged 17-35 at the closing date of entries.
Scholarships each worth $20,000, payable over two years with funds paid in quarterly instalments of $2,500. The total pool of money is $100,000.

Australian applicants for the World Dance Alliance–Asia Pacific International Choreographer Scholarship to the American Dance Festival (China) need to apply to Ausdance National before 16 January 2012.
The scholarship is worth about AUD $700 and covers the costs of attending all master classes (3 classes per day, 1.5 hours per class for 13 calendar days) performances, lectures and forums throughout the festival.

The Foundation has also announced that one of Tanja's works, construct, has been voted by The Monthly magazine as one of 20 Australian masterpieces, across all art forms, since the year 2000. The work was declared the masterpiece in the category of contemporary dance, a great achievement!
Six-day intensive program of workshops covering dance technique and repertoire, taught by Leigh and the company dancers. Cost $330 (limit 20 people).

Beginners Contemporary will resume on Wed 18 January 2012.
The next Certificate in Dance-Movement Therapy course will commence July 2012. Attendance at an ‘Introduction to Dance Therapy’ workshop is a prerequisite for selection to the course.
Last month we ran our annual photography competition, the winners of which each receive a copyright fee and have their images displayed on the ArtsCareer website for one year.
We had so many great entries it was hard work selecting the winners but after much deliberation we were able to narrow it down!
