Arts SA New Commissions and Exhibitions Funding Program

Three new programs introduced to support the creation, development and presentation of outstanding arts projects in
this State:
• Festivals commissioning fund
• New exhibitions fund
• Major exhibitions fund.

These programs will assist local artists, artists’ groups and arts
organisations to present new works at South Australia’s major festivals and not-forprofit collecting and exhibiting institutions, as well as support major not-for-profit collecting and exhibiting institutions to bring outstanding national and international exhibitions to South Australia.

These programs are designed to help raise the national and
international profile of South Australian artists and arts
organisations through important presentation opportunities in
this State.

South Australian festivals can commission new work from local artists across all artforms.

The State’s major collecting and exhibiting institutions can
apply to bring in outstanding national and international touring
exhibitions and to develop significant curated exhibitions with South Australian artists.
